Recently, Zhejiang University Education Foundation signed a donation agreement with an anonymous alumnus, who will donate 50 million yuan annually to Zhejiang University Education Foundation, a total of 250 million yuan for five consecutive years, for a fund to support student training, disciplines and professional teams, and infrastructure construction of three basic disciplines: physics, mathematics and chemistry at Zhejiang University. The first lot of donation of RMB 50 million yuan has been made.

Since his admission to Zhejiang University in 2002, the donor has long cherished the motto of seeking truth and pursuing innovation and hoped to work for the University and the community like all the other alumni who work diligently in different positions.

Zhejiang University would like to express sincere appreciation to the alumnus for his support to the University and invite all the alumni and the community around the world to help support the University on its path to be a top world-class university.
