On the afternoon of September 3, Ren Shaobo, Secretary of ZJU CPC committee, metwith Zhang Daocai, Chairman of the Board of Sanhua Holding Group and his delegationon Zijingang Campus, Zhejiang University. The two sides held in-depth exchangeson further cooperation.

Ren Shaobo appreciatedSanhua Holding Group for leading innovation frontiers through core research anddevelopment and looked forward to cooperation in more fields. He stated thatuniversities depend on the society for development, therefore, ZJU not only aimsat international frontiers and national strategies, but in-depth cooperationwith leading enterprises. He anticipated both parties focus on key leadingtechnologies with great potential and explore cultivation model of innovationand entrepreneurship talents for national and regional development in the newera.

Zhang Daocai reviewedthe arduous history of Sanhua Holding Group and introduced its achievements intechnological innovation and global outreach. He said as a university at hand,ZJU boasts a complete range of disciplines. The two parties have establishedcooperation in the past, and he hoped for a better role in talent cultivationand scientific research of ZJU in diversified forms.

Founded in 1984, withthree major industries and over 20 subsidiaries, Sanhua Holding Group is alarge private enterprise integrating research, production, operation andservice. It mainly produces the components and parts for refrigeration and air-conditioningcontrol and develops the industry of auto components.

Before the meeting,Zhang Daocai and his delegation paid a visit to the History Museum and theScience and Technology Museum of Zhejiang University.

Luo Weidong, Vice Presidentof ZJU, Zhang Yabo, President of Sanhua Holding Group, and relevant heads ofthe two parties participated in the above activities.
