OnDecember 10, 2018, the Educational Development Foundation and the AlumniAssociation of East China Normal University, as well as Shanghai ZijiangFoundation visited Zhejiang University Education Foundation. Those present atthe reception included Hu Wei, Assistant to ZJU President and Secretary-Generalof the Education Foundation, Gu Yulin, Deputy Director of Development &Liaison Office, ZJU and both sides had discussions on fund-raising, project management,fund operation and alumni organization and liaison.

Mr.Hu Wei introduced the general situation and organizational structure ofZhejiang University, its Alumni Association and Education Foundation, andshared the ideas, practices and explorations in alumni association andFoundation.

ZhejiangUniversity and East China Normal University enjoy origins in history. In thenational restructuring of colleges and universities in 1952, the Department ofGeography of Zhejiang University was merged into East China Normal University.In the new era, the two universities had vibrant cooperation in talenttraining, academic exchanges and research, and achieved fruitful results.          

Si Yang, Director of theEducation Development Foundation Office of East China Normal University,expressed his hope for more contacts with Zhejiang University in the future.
