On October 17, the ceremony of IPE GroupLimited donating to Zhejiang University was held at the Staff Activity Centerof ZJU Trade Union. Chairman Zeng Guangsheng, Executive Director Wu Kaiping,Human Resources Manager Luo Longfa of IPE Group Limited, Investment Director HeChaohai of Shenzhen Intelligent Manufacturing Investment Co., Ltd., ChenZhenhua, Director of No. 1 Development Department of ZJU Education Foundation,Deputy Dean Ju Bingfeng, Xiang Shufang, Vice Secretary of the CPC Committee ofSchool of Mechanical Engineering and some other teachers and students attendedthe ceremony. The ceremony was presided over by Xiang Shufang.

In his speech, Deputy Dean Ju Bingfeng firstexpressed his welcome and thanks to IPE Group and then introduced thecontinuous good cooperation between the Group and School of MechanicalEngineering in research and talent training, and finally encouraged thestudents present to be devoted to the manufacturing industry in China, to makedue contribution to entity economy, and to develop into high-profile talentswith high ambition.

Then IPE Group donated RMB 300,000 in ascholarship to outstanding students in mechanical engineering. Chen Zhenhua, onbehalf of Zhejiang University Education Foundation, presented a certificate ofdonation to Chairman Zeng.           

Mr. Ju Bingfeng awarded the certificate“Supervisor of Employment and Entrepreneurship” to Chairman Zeng Guangsheng.Moreover, the two sides expressed their future cooperation in setting upinternship and practice base, practice and research platform for students ofZhejiang University.

Later, Chairman Zeng made a speech on hisunderstanding of mechanical engineering, the current market share by foreigncompanies and the future solutions by the IPE Group for China’s automotive andhydraulic industries. In addition, he encouraged the students to achieve valuesin new manufacturing as it will not be, like IT industry, an industry onlycatering to the young. He motivated the young to aim high with ambition bysaying new manufacturing is the place where young people can fully realizetheir ambition.

The IPE Group then held a promotion fair oncampus, HR manager Luo Longfa giving a detailed introduction to the Group.

Finally, Xiang Shufang put forward a messagethat ZJU students will find a good platform for employment after graduation,but they should have a long-term vision, go ahead and have a betterunderstanding of manufacturing industry.
