On the afternoon of October 9th, Zhu Kezhen Award Ceremony of Zhejiang University was held on Zijingang Campus. Zou Xiaodong, Secretary of the CPC Committee, and Wu Zhaohui, President of ZJU,presented the trophy and certificate respectively to Shen Rongjun, Honorary Dean of School of Aeronautics and Astronautics, ZJU and academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering.

“I have worked for 11 years and 10 daysas Dean of School of Aeronautics and Astronautics. My honor today is ascribed to the joint efforts of the School and also goes to the School.” Academician Shen Rongjun, with a bunch of flowers in his hand, recalled his affection with Zhejiang University.

Academician Shen Rongjun, working in aerospace engineering management and aerospace test control for years, is one of the main founders and pioneers of China’s aerospace test control network and manned space engineering. He has made significant contributions to personnel training,discipline planning and construction, the layout and expansion of characteristic and pioneering projects of national defense and military-civilian integration during his service as Dean of School of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
