On June 16th, Zhu Min, President of Cybernaut was appointed President of ZJU Board of Trustees. Zou Xiaodong, Secretary of the CPC Committee, granted the appointment letter and commemorative plate to him and put on the school emblem for him.
Zhu Min was admitted to the former Zhejiang Agricultural University in 1977, and to the Dept. of Industrial Managementof Zhejiang University in 1982. Upon graduation in 1984, he went to study in Stanford University on Chinese government funds. He founded Future Labs in 1991, WebExin 1996, Zhu Min International Innovation Foundation and Zhejiang University Innovation Institute International (ZIII) in 2007. Besides, Zhejiang University Alumni Z20 Fund was set up in 2017 by ZIII, Cybernaut and Listed Company Entrepreneur AlumniAssociation of Zhejiang University Alumni Association as well as many outstanding entrepreneurs.
Zou Xiaodong thanked Zhu Min for hissupport and concern for Zhejiang University. He hoped that the ZIII and Z20 Fund, on the basis of their previous work, would play an increasingly importantrole by exercising their unique advantages in terms of system, mechanism and mode, and being integrated with the construction of National “DoubleFirst-Class” Initiative, especially the construction of disciplines and talents,
Zhu Min expressed his appreciation to ZJU, his Alma Mater for trust and support and promised he would continue to offer his support for innovative undertakings and personnel training.
Vice President Luo Weidong, alumnus WangYang, President of Cybernaut and persons of relevant schools were also present.
